mothqueer #2: chasing cars

"My natal astrological chart is a difficult one. South node solar eclipse, opposing cardinal stelliums, Saturn ruled - there’s a severity to it that feels natural to me but seems to alienate most others. I once described it to a friend as the birth chart of a blackberry bramble: all dark fruit and green thorns, continually cut back but refusing to die, a liminal lover, saving my best for those who aren’t afraid to reach deep and bleed a little.

Every part of my chart dealing with other people has some sort of difficult influence. Mars is detrimented in my 5th house of sexuality ruling my 4th house of family and my 11th of friends and community. The Moon just begins to blot out the light of the Sun as they both sink below the horizon, one of astrology’s most malefic alignments etched into my seventh house of partnerships. The combined light of Venus and Sirius above a beacon calling me forth to the inevitable wreck below.
